Our story

It all started at the legendary Loyola High School prom, junior year. To this day, Natalie says it was her Super Bowl.

College sent us to opposite coasts, and we stayed together anyway. Then a dark time for the world turned into a bright spot for us: the pandemic sent us both home, and we got to spend it together in Manhattan Beach.

After graduation, work took us to San Francisco, our first city as a couple. There we made our first new friends together, and plenty of memories along the way.

Then came a curveball. JP got a call from a little battery startup in Austin, and before he knew it, he was living on South Congress. He spent the next few months wooing Natalie and showing her everything Austin had to offer. California will always beat Texas, but she agreed anyway to start a new chapter in a new state, together.

We moved into our first apartment together, and recently into our first house, nicknamed the Dollhouse. There have been plenty of adventures in between, and plenty more yet to come.
